A conversation with Mr. Natwarlal is where it all started. Mr. Natwarlal owns a 600 sq.ft electrical shop in Tippasandra. During one of our visits, he voiced his concerns about how consumers have become more and more demanding. They expected to see more brands which meant carrying more inventory, more space and more working capital, not to mention competition. To top it all, the brands were not very supportive because he was small. The only way to sustain and grow his business was to serve his customers on time and give them a good experience, which was a challenge today.

When we dug a little deeper, we found that there are more than 200,000 small and medium retailers like Mr. Natwarlal.

The question we asked ourselves was, “What can we do to make their life easier and help grow their business?”

A germ of an idea for Eazeebox had been planted.
